Strong Mama® offers programmes for pregnant and postnatal ladies, the focus is facilitating mama’s to be the strongest they can in terms of fitness, nutrition and wellbeing. We start with the ‘foundations’ of the body building core strength and coordination before progressing with movement and strength.
Exercising whilst pregnant can feel daunting with many unsure of what they can do or how to adapt exercises to ensure you maintain the benefits whilst remaining safe. I can be there to guide you through this either through the Strong Mama® Fit for Birth package.

Strong Mama® Postnatal
As a postnatal mama your body has been through a physiological trauma. It needs time to heal and restore. Then focus should be on a gradual restorative and progressive approach to rebuilding fitness, it is important not to do too much too soon!
The Strong Mama® The Beginning package which combines movement, soft tissue therapy and doula skills to provide you with a package that focuses on healing, recovery and YOU, at a time when the focus is often on the baby. This is a unique 2hr appointment bespoke to you, offered in your own home, to help promote your road to recovery.
When it’s time to think about movement restoring your core should be a priority – you need to re-learn how to breathe and connect the core, teach the core muscles (diaphragm, transverse abs, pelvic floor and lower back) to work together, and rehabilitate your pelvic floor in a functional way (i.e. not kegels). The core muscles are the foundation of your body, they provide the link between your upper body and lower body, they are responsible for movement and stability. Any imbalance can lead to a dysfunctional core which may present as back ache, painful sex, incontinence, constipation, prolapse. You need to learn how to protect your core from the increase in pressure when, pushing, pulling, lifting, squatting, all everyday movements as a mama. The Holistic Core Restore® Everywoman programme is ideal for addressing this.
For those who are looking for higher intensity, but still low impact, the the Strong Mama + sessions are for you. They are 45 minutes of pelvic floor safe, cardio and strengthening exercises.
